How it works

Four steps. No unattended automation.

FreshZync never creates invoices and never sends anything to FreshBooks without a human clicking Import. You keep using FreshBooks exactly as you do today for the actual billing.

01

Connect

Click "Connect FreshBooks" and "Connect Zoho Desk," approve the OAuth prompts, and you're done — no API keys or developer setup on your end. Tokens auto-refresh after that.

02

Pull

FreshZync fetches recently-modified Zoho Desk tickets and their time entries, and flags any that have already been imported so they can't be double-billed.

03

Review & edit

Hours, the FreshBooks project, the service label, and the note are all editable per entry before anything is sent. Project and service choices are remembered per Zoho account for next time.

04

Select & import

Check the entries you want to log and hit Import. Each one becomes its own FreshBooks time entry, attached to the right project and service — ready for you to invoice inside FreshBooks, as you always have.

What FreshZync doesn't do

  • No invoice creation. FreshZync only logs billable hours as project time entries. You generate the actual invoice inside FreshBooks, from that project's unbilled time, exactly as you do today.

  • No scheduled/unattended imports. A future option to pre-fetch tickets on a schedule (so the dashboard is ready when you open it) is on the roadmap — but the review-and-approve step before anything hits FreshBooks will never be automated away.
